Shedding some light today into the world of curves, from my personal perspective. Having curves is all relative and we need not worry as to where they are, why they are and how we might go crazy trying to get rid of them. I am embracing my own curves in a way that I hope will inspire. I might just talk about the popular Curvy Sister Hat also.
Curve Ball
The game of life can hand us all sorts of balls. Racquetballs, tennis balls, soccer balls and yes, even curve balls. We can be cruising along at high speeds waiting for the perfect pitch and then that game ball throws a curve ball in our plans and we may just wonder what hit us. The decision to take a part time job at my kids’ school was like a curve ball slamming this house. Adjustments had to be made, ride share with my teen drivers took some planning and coordinating suppers meant my teens cook every Wednesday. The decision to work part-time came with questions, worry, confusion and sleepless nights wondering how it was all going to work after working from home for 15 years. Let’s just say I caught the curve ball, shifted my game plan and I’m abundantly enjoying my decision. Don’t worry, I’m still making hats, blogging, and I pleasantly enjoy our Wednesday meals (wink, wink).
