FAQ’s about your handmade hat – thank you for your recent purchase – ya’ll put that extra stitch in my seam!
First of all – Do you have a handmade hat yet? Let’s fix that right HERE.
Your handmade hat questions answered and five things you need to know about your handmade hat
- Can I wash my hat?
Yes! Fleece, flannel and corduroy hats can be thrown in the washer on a cold, gentle cycle. Not your burlap recycled bucket hat. - Can I wash and dry my kids’ hats?
Yes! Because I know your life is busy with laundry, suppers to make and lunches to pack, not to mention your kids are maybe filthy and sweaty (love it) go ahead and throw their fleece hats right in the wash and dryer on warm while you throw supper together for the fam. I’ve done it a lot and the hat comes out looking fresh and ready for more playtime. - Can I iron my hat?
I want my newsboy hat or patchwork cloche hat to look crisp and brand new again.
Yes, but only the flannel and corduroy hats, not the fleece or any wool hats you may have. Iron on low heat and swipe the brim to make it happy and to stiffen things up a bit. Please avoid getting any hot iron on your Bound to be Creative label as it will potentially stick to your iron. Not your burlap recycled bucket hat. - How do I pack my hat for travel?
Pack your handmade flannel or corduroy hat with this instructional blog right here. Your slouchy hat can easily tuck inside a pocket somewhere.
These are the FAQ’s that I get asked all the time. I hope you will find them super useful as you rock your Bound to be Creative hat!
Until next time…
Bound to be….making more hats,
