Hello! Hello! Good Monday morning to ya. I promise this post is brought to you by gobs of coffee, cute red shoes, new handmade hats and a winter wonderland of photos. It’s short and sweet…just like all those Christmas cards in your mailbox.
Thank goodness for coffee
I so wanted to get this out to you last week – but alas the early December mayhem took over my already messy household and trapped me under boxes of Christmas decorations, tangled lights, a sick kid – thank goodness for loads of coffee! With my photographer-ish husband at the ready he willingly (I think) took some fun new shots of the ready to ship hats (yes, there is coffee in my cup and it was good).
Life savers and hats
Do you have a last minute basket of handmade hats waiting to cover your untamed hair and a mirror at the garage entry for quick lip application? I most certainly do and hats are more than just life savers for me this time of year, the are essential. From band and choir concerts to attend, Christmas programs to serve at and shopping lists to cross off – hats get much use this time of year more so than the average month. I have some limited ready to wear handmade hats waiting online for your next winter obligation. They come with all the loving stitches for a confident, busy mom, sister, grandma and friend! I wish I could play Santa and send you all your pre-wrapped gifts complete with name tags and place them under your tree…but I’ll leave that to the elf experts.

Pulling the Wool Over my Eyes
Some new wool hats in the most dreamy of wool prints miraculously made it to the shop. They are created with a hand drawn and hand cut genuine leather feather that’s sewn-in. There are only three of this kind for the season coming in a Medium/Large size, no elastic and always reversible! Check them out right here!

Winter in Minnesota
This year we already had a dumping of snow in our neck of the woods and it made Christmas tree finding very interesting and fun. Here are some snippets of our family day out to get the tree. Enjoy!
Hoping to get one more post out before surfacing from the decoration boxes BUT if I don’t I wish you a
VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Bound to be ….checking the mail for cards,
Shelly
