Shedding some light today into the world of curves, from my personal perspective. Having curves is all relative and we need not worry as to where they are, why they are and how we might go crazy trying to get rid of them. I am embracing my own curves in a way that I hope will inspire. I might just talk about the popular Curvy Sister Hat also.
The game of life can hand us all sorts of balls. Racquetballs, tennis balls, soccer balls and yes, even curve balls. We can be cruising along at high speeds waiting for the perfect pitch and then that game ball throws a curve ball in our plans and we may just wonder what hit us. The decision to take a part time job at my kids’ school was like a curve ball slamming this house. Adjustments had to be made, ride share with my teen drivers took some planning and coordinating suppers meant my teens cook every Wednesday. The decision to work part-time came with questions, worry, confusion and sleepless nights wondering how it was all going to work after working from home for 15 years. Let’s just say I caught the curve ball, shifted my game plan and I’m abundantly enjoying my decision. Don’t worry, I’m still making hats, blogging, and I pleasantly enjoy our Wednesday meals (wink, wink).
A Hat to Embrace
The Curvy Sister Newsboy was an answer for women longing for their handmade hat to include softer lines. You spoke and I listened. With a nod to the typical baseball style hat, the Curvy Sister Hat is created with a feminine handmade touch, a brim to shade you from the sun and can we say, cute? Here’s what some women have said:
“Gorgeous. Beautifully made. Will definitely order another and refer to others.”
“Love it! Fit is perfect. Very well made!”
For the curves in all of us
Embracing or not embracing the curves of our makeup is both a wonder and a blessing. Embracing our curves may exude a confident, satisfied and sure self; while not embracing our curves may lead to insecurity, hesitance and uncertainty. Either way, curves don’t define us they refine us, nuff said.
The Curvy Sister Hat is made to order with lots of color choices! See them here!
