You Had Me in Stitches
After hemming and hawing for a couple of years on this idea, I finally launched my very first pattern! The original designs that I literally dream about as part of my creative process (for real) are so near and dear to me that I finally said “why not!?” The small HIP Mini Sewing Pattern is now available in my Etsy shop right here! It took a little nudge (okay, a big nudge) from my husband and he agreed to the terms – to edit and test the pattern for me. So, he and our 10 year old daughter set aside a couple of hours and plugged away at this pattern, see photos. Keep in mind my husband hasn’t sewn since his 1980’s Home-Ec class (hmmm, do the math). There were a few questions in the process but they tackled it and it turned out great! I’m so proud of them both and it might be a while before he tests another pattern. Don’t Worry, I’m On the Case
New product alert! So, my friends up at Minnesota Makers store in Robbinsdale, MN needed more Bound products for their upcoming holiday season, so I jumped on the opportunity to send them something new and colorful. The new Mini iPad Case is loaded with colored pencils and a notepad. Well, at the time of the photo shoot I said to myself, “Take the iPad out, take the iPad out, don’t pack the iPad!” Oh yes I did. I was so proud of the best packing job ever with loads of tape and a nice label, not to mention thee perfect size box where everything fit (we’ve all been there, right?). After the light bulb went on and a few expletives later, I cut the box open and found the iPad. Case closed.
