Happy June to you!! From phlox to chocolate mint, there’s a lot of planting that’s been going on in Bound to be Creative’s gardens. Today I’m giving you the dirt on what I can’t live without when I’m up to my ears in hostas.
Garden beds and HIP Mini’s
This time of year I get very excited to stretch my fingers into the soil and see what the worms have been up to all winter. Each year I flex my plant knowledge from the year before and I usually come up one or two buds short of what I used to know. Luckily, 99% of the time I’m wearing my well-loved HIP Mini (going on 5 years old) and have easy access to my smart phone. I LOVE that I have a place for my phone so I can easily grab it to research perennials, find soil preferences and of course snap the occasional photo.
“Perfection! Small enough to be out of the way and yet large enough to hold everything I need. This is love.”
– Jenny, NC
On in a snap
The HIP Mini is very versatile because it comes with the snap closures to wear on your belt loops. These loops are also functional when you want to throw on your adjustable strap and head out to your child’s park and rec game.
New prints in the shop! From bees to cats – this duck cloth fabric is not only durable but comes with personality. Shop new prints here!
“This was a birthday present for my sister. And my sister loves it. Thanks!”

Until next time…how do you use your HIP Mini?? I’d LOVE to hear from you! Just hit reply and let me know!
